As a result of the agreement signed earlier this year between the Real Federación Española de Béisbol y Sófbol and the AECC (Spanish Association Against Cancer), and with the collaboration of the IBAF, during the celebration of the last Copa del Rey de Béisbol (the Spanish Baseball Cup) in Pamplona, all four games were opened with a first pitch of a “Pink Ball” to show the support to the fight against the Brest Cancer. The pitches were made by people who have survived this disease and local authorities. Also, the AECC and SARAY (a local association against the breast cancer) had a booth during the two competition days where distributes information  about both organizations and where they raise funds with the sale on the “Pink Balls” donated by the IBAF.
