2012 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers

For the first time in the history of the event, qualifying tournaments will be played for the 2013 World Baseball Classic. 16 teams will battle for four spots and the main event in September and November at four World Baseball Classic Qualifiers.

*NOTE: One of the two teams in Games 3 and 4 are pre-determined; the opponent will be the team from the other Game 1 or Game 2 matchup with the same result; that is, Games 3 and 4 will match both 1-0 and 0-1 teams against each other. For example, Czech Republic will play in Game 3 of Qualifier 1 regardless of whether they win or lose Game 2; their opponent will be the winner of Great Britain vs. Canada if Czech Republic wins Game 2, or the loser of that game if they lose their game.
