The IBAF Congress in Dallas made the final charges against former Secretary General John Ostermeyer public. They can be summarized as follows:
-> serious lack of transparency and serious misconducts in the carrying out of this activity as IBAF Secretary
-> Unlawful management and use of IBAF funds for personal aims and benefits
-> Refusal to provide/furnish/return IBAF documents and or property
-> Repeated violations of IBAF statutes and regulations
The IBAF Executive unanimously adopted the following disciplinary actions:
-> Removed Mr Ostermeyer from any office associated with or recognized by the IBAF, Continental Confederations or National Federations
-> Administered a lifetime ban on Mr Ostermeyer from any IBAF activity, role or position whatsoever
-> Sanctioned Mr Ostermeyer with a fine of 500,000 swiss francs (CHF)
