Launched in 2011 by the International Baseball Federation and played every two years, the U12 Baseball World Cup has established itself as baseball's most elite and highest level of competition
for this youth age category.
The U12 Baseball World Cup is the only global event across baseball -- and all of sport -- to feature National Teams in this age group, with the best young baseball players in the world, and future stars, uniting on the Baseball World Cup global platform.
The U12 Baseball World Cup is played under the IBAF's International Rules. Dimensions of regulation U12 World Cup-ballparks (distance to the outfield fence, pitching mound, base paths, etc.) are signficantly increased compared to local youth leagues, due to the superior nature and strength of the players involved.
Players eligible are between the ages of 11- and 12-years-old.
The continental representation of the U12 Baseball World Cup (est. with the 2015 edition) is as follows:
Total No. of National Team Participants (12)
Wild Card (1)
