Yomiuri Giants won Japan/Korea Club Championship

 

Japan/Korea Club Championship was held on the November 14th in Nagasaki, Japan and Japanese Champion, Yomiuri Giants beat Korean Champion KIA 9 – 4 celebrating Japan’s side victory 5 times in row (including the Asian Club Championships)

 

Tatsunori Hara, who led Yomiuri Giants to the best Asian club as team manager has successfully finished his 2009 season winning all Championships he was involved in this year, World Baseball Classic, NPB Central League, Nippon Series and Japan/Korea Club Championship.

 

It is reported that the Asian Series will be back in 2010 and Chinese Taipei is considered a potential host for the tournament. The champion club from Japan, Korea, China and Chinese Taipei will be competing in the tournament aiming for the pinnacle of Asian baseball.
